Mining and Dining: A Command Line Crash Course

Mining and Dining: A Command Line Crash Course

Get familiar with some key text mining tools while enjoying some tasty sandwiches, salads, and cookies from Azafran! Sometimes, text mining can require working directly with code such as Python or R and you may need to be familiar with your computer's command line interface. This can seem a very daunting prospect to the uninitiated. This workshop is designed to show you that the command line needn't an object of fear! Come make friends with your computer's command line in this fun workshop.
It is recommended that you bring your own laptop, however laptops can be supplied.
This event has been generously funded by the Idea Lab. Thank you Idea Lab!
Please note this event is limited to 10 participants. If the event fills up, we will put respondents on a waiting list in case someone drops out. We may be able to consider offering the event again if there is sufficient interest.
