Literature Review Tips and Tricks: Using a Synthesis Matrix

Before you begin writing your literature review, start with a synthesis matrix to help you get organized. A synthesis matrix can help you organize your literature review into a narrative, and help you avoid the trap of merely stringing together your annotations from an annotated bibliography. Join us to learn how a synthesis matrix can help you, and get started on your own. If you are currently working on an annotated bibliography or a literature review, it would be helpful to have your research materials handy during the session.

This session is specifically tailored for students in the EdD Program taking the course Neurobiology of Learning Differences.
