Join us for an evening of music and storytelling as Latin American folklore comes to life in one of the world’s most beautiful libraries! Luis Ozoria and his Candor Collective, a Pan-American jazz ensemble, will weave original compositions infused with the rhythms of merengue, bachata, and dembow.

Performance artist Nicoletta Darita de la Brown will transform Panamanian folktales into movement and film, joined by students from Baltimore School for the Arts.

Kara Walker’s striking and provocative artist’s books—sculptural works that blur the line between literature and visual art— will be on display for one night only.

Join us for a celebration of folklore and rare books in one of the world’s most beautiful libraries!
