We’ll explore how librarians can craft effective prompts to guide AI chatbots like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity for research support, metadata work, and more. The session includes historical context, practical strategies, and hands-on activities to strengthen AI literacy, minimize bias, and encourage responsible use. We’ll position prompt & context engineering as a core skill for modern library services.
