Open to JHU Libraries Staff ONLY. This event is Explore the capabilities of AI chatbots like ChatGPT, and the Hopkins AI Lab which includes many models such as GPT, Llama, and Sonnet. Moving beyond the basics, we'll delve into how these Large Language Models (LLMs) are trained and generate human-like text. We will experiment with prompts relevant to library tasks, discuss potential applications for enhancing our services and workflows, and critically examine the inherent limitations and ethical considerations of using these powerful tools. In addition to LLMs, we will introduce the Hopkins home grown AI platform Hopkins AI Lab, and delve into the capabilities this platform has to offer the Hopkins Community. This session blends conceptual understanding with hands-on practice, empowering you to use AI chatbots more confidently and responsibly.
