Join Special Collections staff on Douglass Day to commemorate the life and contributions of Frederick Douglass (on his self-proclaimed birthday) and other notable African-Americans. Together with other libraries, archives and community groups across the country we'll work side-by-side to transcribe materials from the African American Perspectives Collection at the Library of Congress using its By The People crowdsourcing platform.
No prior experience is needed, but please bring your laptop. Snacks and swag will be provided.
