Join us for a celebration of open source innovation and collaboration!

The Johns Hopkins University Open Source Programs Office (OSPO) would like to invite you to the culminating event of our Free and Open Source Software Project Fund (FOSSProF), a community-driven program providing direct support to open source practitioners on campus.

Event highlights:

  • Presentations from each funded project, showcasing their achievements and impact
  • Inspiring talks from:
    • Joshua M. Greenberg, Program Director, Alfred P. Sloan Foundation
    • Andrew Wichmann, Senior Intellectual Property and Licensing Manager, Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures (JHTV)
    • Phillip Spector, Office of the President, Johns Hopkins University
  • Ample networking opportunities to connect with OSS practitioners and innovators from across JHU

All JHU affiliates are welcome, but seats are limited, so register early!

Please note that this is an in-person event, there is no virtual component. There is ample free parking available at 6225 Smith, and regular shuttle service from Mason Hall on the Homewood Campus to Mt. Washington; the schedule is available here. An additional shuttle will be provided on the 7th with stops at the Welch Medical Library on the East Baltimore Campus at 12:15 and the Beach on the Homewood Campus at 12:30. The route will run in reverse after the event.
