Fire Cider for Winter Wellness, with Tonika Berkley
Learn how to make "Fire Cider" or "Master Tonic" to boost your immune system for cold and flu season. We will be using herbs such as rosemary, turmeric and cinnamon, with root vegetables and fruits, like horseradish, ginger, and lemon. Let’s prepare to stay well during the cold winter season with some ‘heat’ for the body. All herbs, vegetables, and materials will be provided.
Rituals of Tea, with Nicoletta Daríta de la Brown
An interactive workshop blended with sweet nostalgia reminiscent of a tea ceremony. Infuse memories of family tradition while brewing delicious tisane blends. Integrate inspiring ingredients and create a playful personal ritual. De la Brown loves sharing the practices she learned from her abuelita like “tonic"—a fresh cilantro (coriander) tea cold-steeped overnight. The session will boost your wellbeing and include a group ceremony to lock in the co-created magic.
