Mining and Dining: Exploring Lexomics
A workshop aimed at graduate students: Get familiar with some key text mining tools while enjoying some tasty sandwiches, salads, and cookies from Azafran! In this session we will be exploring Lexomics. Originally designed to identify short sequences of bases in genomes, the technology has been adapted to analyze the frequency, distribution, and arrangement of words.
Where: The Center for Educational Resources Conference Room, MSE Library, Q Level
Equipment: It is recommended that you bring your own laptop, however laptops can be supplied. Please email Tamsyn if you require one.
